The Star Board LED Pixel Holder promises fast and easy integration of high-intensity LED packages into fixtures by addressing electrical, thermal, and mechanical requirements in a single package. Consisting of a cast aluminum heat sink, plastic locking ring, contact carrier, and tin-plated copper alloy contacts, the holder is available with a two-wire connection for single-color LEDs and four-wire connections for RGB LEDs. The heat sink fits standard GU10/MR16 light fixtures and the holder accepts LED board thicknesses from 1-mm to 2.5-mm thick. The holder supports LEDs with power ratings up to 3W without forced air cooling.
