Equipped with a 250W ac power supply pre-wired to a 4-, 6- or 8-slot backplane with additional power connectors for peripherals, the OSS series of CompactPCI board test stations employs an open frame design to give board developers easy access to system components. The station's 3U or 6U enclosure is mounted in a rack frameúthat elevates it on the workbench, allowing space for a work area and cable routing under the enclosure. Two 3.5" peripheral bays are provided for mounting disk drives. On the 6U version, a fan mounted under the card cage provides cooling for the boards.
