An ultra-miniature, 0402 size has been added to the GMC Series of multilayer ceramic chip capacitors. Now ranging from 0402 to 2225 in size, this large family of MLCCs is designed to help reduce real estate needs on densely-populated boards, with the 0402 chips well-suited for use in PDAs, VCRs and other portable products. The new caps come in 16, 25 and 50 vdc rated voltages and 0.5 pF to 1 µF capacitances.
