Importing the latest technology from the laptop-computer industry, the Cobra is said to provide performance levels and features not found on comparable EBX-size single-board computers SBCs). The board supports a 1.6 GHz Pentium M processor with a 1 MB level 2 cache and an 855GM chipset with an Extreme Graphics 2 video controller. It also includes up to 2 GB of DDR RAM, dual Gigabit Ethernet channels, LVDS flat panel support, and integrated audio. Additional I/O includes four USB 2.0 ports, 32 channels of digital I/O, eight optional analog inputs, RS-232 and RS-422 ports, and an array of standard PC ports.
