Available with up to four 64-bit CPU cores, the KISS 4U KT965 industrial server incorporates an embedded ATX motherboard and features an Intel Q965 Express chipset and LGA 775 socket. The ultra-quiet (less than 35 dB) server offers embedded and desktop performance up to the Intel Core 2 Quad processor. Performance is boosted by up to 8 GB of DDR2 dual-channel RAM. For application-specific expansion, a PCI Express x16 (PEG) and six PCI interfaces offer a wide range of options. Standard data interfaces include two Gigabit Ethernet ports, 10 USB 2.0 ports (two on the front), and a COM port. Data storage media are connected via six SATA 150/300 ports with onboard RAID 0/1/5/10 functionality and an ATA 100 interface. The integrated Intel GMA 3100 Graphics Media Accelerator supports resolution of up to QXGA via the VGA port. Interfaces for 7.1 HD-Audio and PS/2 ports for mouse and keyboard round out the list of interfaces. KONTRON, Munich, Germany. +49 (8165) 77-777.
