SBC Seeks Multimedia Apps

With a wealth of multimedia support, the SBC8450VEA single-board computer (SBC) sports a 3" profile and uses a 233 MHz Geode GX1 processor in conjunction with a CS5530 chipset. In addition to both VGA and LCD support, the board includes the AC97 codec with a surround sound audio controller that supports Direct Sound 3-D audio. Sound Blaster Pro and 32-bit Sound Blaster compatible, full-duplex operation is provided for simultaneous record and playback. Other features include a 10/100 Base-T Ethernet interface, one floppy-disk port, IDE controller, four serial ports, one parallel port, an IrDA connector, and support for up to 128 MB of SDRAM.
