New From Maxim: RGB Video Mux Lowers Chip Count The new MAX4885 reduces the typical RGB video switching chip count from three to one. With this one IC doing the work of many, board space is saved and costs are reduced 25%-30% compared to its multichip predecessors. Other features include >500MHz broadband width and 3-state capability for achieving 4:1 mux ratios and the ability to switch more than two video sources. Samples are available now.
