Groomed for automotive designs, the HM70 series high current, surface-mount shielded inductors utilize a proprietary core material to enhance power capability and minimize core losses at higher operating frequencies. Working in temperatures from -408C up to +180°C, the components are suitable for tight board layouts in power supplies, dc/dc converters, and modules. Maximum operating frequency is 1 MHz. The inductors are available in 400- and 500-unit, 13” diameter embossed tape-and-reel packages. Typical pricing is 0.67 each/ 10,000 with delivery from stock to 10 weeks.
