Promising the same functionality as two 2-pole relays but occupying 22% less pc board space, the FTR-B2 series of 4-pole, signal relays measures just 17.4 x 9.9 x 9.3 mm. Targeted especially at line card switching applications, where three relays have typically been required, the new telecomm relays also feature bifurcated, gold overlay silver alloy contacts with 1A (30 vdc) and 0.2A (125 vac) resistive ratings. The relay's maximum switching contact current is 1A and power consumption is 400 mW. FTR-B2 relays are offered with coil voltages of either 4.5 or 12 vdc and are available from stock.
