Three-phase brushless dc and ac motors can be found in the AK-ST7FMC Starter Kit. It comprises a motor-control board with a 10-A inverter stage, an optoisolation board, a 24-V brushless direct-current motor, and the inDART-STX/D In-Circuit Debugger/Programmer. It additionally has a copy of the STMicroelectronics' Visual Debug integrated development environment, which also supports Metrowerks and Cosmic C compilers. Its sample control-panel application modifies all motor driving parameters in real time. Pre-made C libraries make it easy to develop custom motor-control applications. The Starter Kit costs $695.
