Reported to meet the challenge of repairing pc boards and components well into the future, the 1500 series rework station features a flexible upgrade path to accommodate new and existing surface-mount packages, including BGAs, QFPs, PLCCs, and other SMT components and connectors.
Accommodating boards up to 300 mm x 250 mm in size, the system uses focused infra-red technology, which is a non-contact, tool- and hands-free technique for soldering and pre-heating boards and components. A wide range of optional features are also available.
