Designed as a drop-in replacement for industry standard 240 x 64 monochrome displays, the company's new line of high-contrast, 240 x 64-pixel RGB and monochrome LCDs include onboard controllers and offer optional touchscreens. The line includes color RGB transmissive and monochrome FSTN transmissive models with CCT backlighting plus transflective, sunlight readable versions with either LED or EL backlighting and an optional extended-temperature operation.
All models provide the same, industry standard viewing area of 17 mm x 34 mm with matching mounting holes to facilitate a single mechanical design for both color and monochrome applications. The color model uses an SED 1353 controller and 256 KB of SRAM, and black and white models use a T6963C controller and 64 KB of Ram. Production prices are from $115 and $52 for color and monochrome displays, respectively.
