Covers Protect Hot-Swappable CompactPCI Boards From Shorts

Designed with AntiStat ESD dissipative PVC to meet emerging hot swap and removable pc-board requirements, the SSC Solder Side Covers Series provides full protection against damage of 6U and 3U systems and peripherals by fully covering the solder side of pc boards with a transparent, puncture resistant barrier. Manufactured from Mirrex 7002 certified PVC film, the SSC Series meets Bell Core (GR-1421-CORE), EIA 541 and MIL-PRF-81705D specifications. SSC Solder Side Covers are easily mounted onto existing pc boards by using four small screws or plastic snap-rivets (arrow fasteners) at the corners of the board. Custom punched through holes and slots or application specific protection is available. Available from stock, pricing of the covers in production quantities is from $2.50 each.
