Offered in either a 3U or 6U double Eurocard form-factor, the F7N single-board computer can be equipped with either a 1.26-GHz Pentium III or 1.2-GHz Celeron embedded processor. And by employing a specially designed heatsink, the SBC can operate over a -40°C to +85°C temperature range when it has "proper airflow over the on-board heatsink". The Pentium III powered SBC has a 133-MHz data bus and 512 KB of cache and the Celeron card a 100-MHz data bus and 256 KB of cache. On-board memory can be extended with a DRAM SO-DIMM and CompactFlash module. The F7N can be used as a system slot controller in cPCI or PXI systems—in the latter instance, the SBC can use the PXI Bus trigger, with the card also having addititional trigger lines for direct, hardwired connections for measuring and controlling I/O in the PXI system. A graphics controller compatible with CRT and TFT monitors, a Gigabit Ethernet port, and a USB port are also available on-board the F7N, with other interfaces available through use of an expansion card.
