Expanding the company’s surface-mount gas discharge tube (GDT) offerings, additional smaller devices are now available to protect xDSL modems, splitters, DSLAM equipment, AIO printers, base stations, and security systems from over-voltage events. The surface-mount GDTs also offer a wider range of surge ratings. Meeting GR-1089 Core, ITU K.20/K.21, and TIA standards, they are available in both two-electrode and three-electrode versions. Specs include voltage ranges from 75V to 600V, capacitance values as low as 0.5 pF, and sizes ranging from 3 mm to 8 mm. Prices range from $0.13 to $0.30 each/100,000.
