For low-power, high-performance chores, the cPCI-6840, cPCI-6841, and cPCI-6842 exploit the efficient instruction execution unit and large L2 cache found in a Pentium M Processor, operating at speeds up to 1.6 GHz. The boards team the processor with an 855GME chipset. The cPCI-6840 complies with PICMG 2.16 packet switching and provides a 64-Bit/66-MHz universal PCI-X bus. Front-panel I/O includes dual PMC site, Gigabit LAN, SATA, USB 2.0, DVI, video, and LVDS panel. A SCSI interface is optional. The cPCI-6841 provides a 32-bit/33-MHz CompactPCI bus and includes two Gigabit Ethernet interfaces, one 32-bit/33-MHz PMC site, 2.5" hard disk drive bay, and a compact flash socket. Front-panel I/O includes VGA and USB ports, KB/MS interfaces, and serial ports. The cPCI-6842 features dual Gigabit Ethernet, 32-bit/33-MHz CompactPCI, one 32-bit/33-MHz PMC site, 2.5" hard-disk drive bay, and a hot-swappable compact flash socket. Front-panel I/O includes VGA, two USB ports, two serial ports, and a parallel port. For prices, call ADLINK TECHNOLOGY AMERICA INC., Irvine, CA (866) 423-5465.
