The TM650 series of 650-W AC/DC switching power supplies is approved to UL 60601-1, CSA C22.2 No. 601.1, and EN 60601-1 medical standards. Its withstand voltage is 4000 VAC from input to output, 1500 VAC from input to ground, and 500 VAC from output

The TM650 series of 650-W AC/DC switching power supplies is approved to UL 60601-1, CSA C22.2 No. 601.1, and EN 60601-1 medical standards. Its withstand voltage is 4000 VAC from input to output, 1500 VAC from input to ground, and 500 VAC from output to ground. The earth leakage current is as low as 90 µA at 115 VAC/60Hz or 150µA at 230 VAC/50Hz. There are 20 standard models of single-to-triple outputs at 650-700 W continuous power. All of the outputs are floating, so the power supplies can be user-configured to have even more output combinations. Operating at a 90- to 264-VAC universal input, the series has a typical power factor of 0.98. Other key features include PFD, remote inhibit, remote sense, overvoltage, overcurrent and thermal protections. The TM650 series complies with EN60601-1-2 EMC standards including EN55011 (class B conducted, class A radiated), EN61000-3-2 class A and D, EN61000-4-2, EN61000-4-3, EN61000-4-5, EN61000-4-11. It achieves an efficiency of 80% minimum and is compliant with RoHS requirements. The units measure 5 x 10.5 x 2.5 inches, and are constructed on a circuit board that contains a U-bracket for mechanical support and heat sinking. A cover and fan assembly is optional and can be added during manufacturing. The TM650 series power supply is priced at $169 in OEM quantities. Units are available from stock to eight weeks ARO.
