Designed to help users make the best decisions based on power constraints and requirements, the resource package includes a programmable logic video, power comparison demo platform, white paper created by a third-party consultant, and access to a micro website. The third-party study covers design issues associated with low-power FPGA and CPLD technology and describes different architectures. It also presents actual board-level test data comparing each vendor's devices including details on why and when different architectures will consume excessive amounts of power.
