The VIPer826, a half-sized single-board computer for PC/104-Plus, ISA passive backplane or stand-alone operation, is claimed as the first industrial SBC based on the Cyrix MediaGX MMX-enhanced processor. It provides highly integrated multimedia capability with Pentium-class performance.Features include processor speeds of up to 266 MHz, an integrated 16-kbyte Level 1 cache, and up to 128 Mbytes of unbuffered SDRAM. There's VGA support for simultaneous CRT and TFT flat-panel operation, PC 97-compliant 16-bit audio with AC 97 codec assistance, and Ultra DMA/33 IDE support. Also on the board are serial/parallel ports and keyboard and mouse ports; 10/100BaseTx Ethernet connectivity is optional.
