The first two in a series of products for support of the Lexra LX-4080 family of RISC microprocessor cores are the LXB4080 evaluation board and the CCE3K software toolkit. The evaluation board is a full-length PCI unit that supports development of ASICs, software and hardware designs based on the Lexra cores. It's said to be a suitable platform for code development, debug and verification prior to availability of the ASIC and/or target hardware. It can be used with a stand-alone PCI backplane or with a host PCI backplane. The software toolkit provides a complete development package that complements the board and allows debugging of optimized code.
