Without flinching, the CoreModule 800 PC-104 single-board computer (SBC) can handle up to 50 gRMS of multi-axis vibration in temperatures from -60°C to +90°C, making it a contender for extreme avionics, military, industrial, and transportation applications. The 90 mm x 96 mm, RoHS-compliant board exploits a 1-GHz Celeron M 373 processor and supports up to 1 GB of DDR 333 RAM. Peripheral support includes USB and serial ports, Gigabit Ethernet, one IDE channel, and optional support for a MiniModule ISA PC/104-Plus bridge card. A QuickStart Kit for the SBC includes device drivers and board-support packages for Windows XP/XPe/CE, QNX, VxWorks, and a full Linux 2.6 distribution.
