Pentium Based SBC Provides A Myriad Of I/O Features

Based on the National Semiconductor low-voltage GX-1 chipset, the MBM-530NS Pentium-based single-board computer (SBC) operates at 300MHz with MMX support. With its low-voltage design, the SBC allows for a fan-less, low-profile system design. Features include support for up to128MB of PC/100 SDRAM, support for a CRT and active TFT LCD, a 10/100 Mb/s Ethernet controller and PCI audio functions such as line-in, line-out, and microphone-in connectors. The board also provides I/O ports including two RS-232/485 serial ports, two TTL I/O ports, two USB ports, and a parallel port. IDE and FDD connectors are also provided as well as a PCI slot and a PC/104 expansion socket. Operating system support includes Windows 98/NT/2000 and Linux. Price starts at $330.
