VME Board Offers High-Speed Buffer

July 1, 1999

Designed for applications such as real-time radar signal analysis and communications monitoring, Model 6099A buffer memory board offers 8-, 16- or 32-bit digital data rates up to 140 MB/s with three flexible I/O paths-its performance can be increased up to 512 MB/s. It uses single-ended TTL or differential ECL input receivers for reliable high-speed data transfers. Input data is written into one of two 256 MB DRAM data buffers organized as 64M x 32b. Both third party and firm's development tools are available for platforms such as Sun SPARCstations running Solaris, PCs running Windows 95 and Windows NT, Digital Alphas running D-UNIX, and HP workstations running HP-UX.
