Guide Post Option Helps High-Speed Interconnects Mate Accurately

A guide post option is available for the company's QTE and QSE-GP series of 8-mm pitch, high-speed interfaces that accurately aligns the connectors when they are mated. The option targets applications that require two boards to be blind mated and offers mounting configurations for traditional parallel board stacking, perpendicular mating of daughtercards, and horizontal (coplanar) applications. The connectors are rated for use up to 2.33 GHz, depending on the application and interface. Targeted applications include servers, routers, set-top boxes, network systems, switchers, industrial computers, test systems, and RAID systems.
