Designed to make the rework of large, fine-pitch devices and multi-layer boards safe, fast and simple, the QX2 SMT convection rework and repair system transfers heat through a moving stream of convected air to evenly heat all component leads. A power-on-demand system allows power to vary automatically according to load. The amount of power can also be fine tuned for individual applications by adjusting air flow.
Other features of the QX2 rework station include a SmartHeat feature that gives users complete power control, automatic configuration, and a wide range of attachment nozzles that can be changed quickly via a push-on, quick-release system. An integrated under-the-board, pre-heater is also available.
