With an ultra thin mounting profile of 3" x 1.28" the USB MicroModule is claimed as the first OEM mouse module to feature a USB interface. The module also features a mounting depth of less than 7 mm and delivers 360-degree cursor control and dual mouse click button support.
Mouse button and mini joystick rubber fingertip actuators are available on USB, PS/2 and RS-232C serial models. A MicroModule Solutions Kit is also available and contains everything required to integrate the device.
Applications include rugged mobile PCs for emergency, military, and field service deployment, navigation and GPS, PC-based testing and robotics equipment, industrial computers, rugged keyboards, and handheld mobile electronics. Designed to meet the demands of factory applications, the module has no moving parts, requires no maintenance and is fully sealed. The kit is priced at $150.
