Primed for military duty, the UAV-X nine-inch square, ruggedized single-board computer enlists the power of Intel's PXA270 XScale processor running at 520 MHz. The board targets: air, land, sea, or underwater unmanned autonomous vehicle (UAV) applications; intelligent security cameras; leave-behind monitoring stations; and submerged or floating buoys. Features include 64 Mb of RAM, 32 Mb of flash memory, single-cell Li-ION battery power, compact flash interface, secure digital interface, AC'97 audio, USB host and function port, ADS SmartIO, three serial ports, switched power sources to external sensors, SMBus, and either Linux or Windows CE operating systems with power management.
