Embedded: BSP Simplifies DO-178B Certification

Synergy Microsystems released a certifiable board-support package (BSP) for VxWorks AE-653 running on its single-CPU, PowerPC 7410 and 7457 single-board computers (SBCs). The VxWorks AE-653 solution for the Wind River Platform for Safety Critical ARINC 653 provides the tools for certifying safety-critical applications for avionics systems. The system includes preconfigured multidomain projects with I/O ports that let developers "drop-in" ARINC apex applications. Utilities include a debug, a monitor, an Ethernet download, PCI device discovery scanning, and a flash programming and verification tool.
