Although it targets the industrial control and mobile computing market, the OSD057T0314-23TS 5.7-in. diagonal TFT-LCD is also well-suited for many other applications that require a high-quality TFT display with a long service life. The 640-by-RGB-by-480 (VGA) display supports up to 18-bit (262k) colors and allows simple image rotation via digital user inputs. The built-in timing controller supports both Sync-mode and DE-mode operation. The display features the convenience of an onboard white LED backlight driver with dimming control, a dc-dc power supply for the source and gate drivers, and an onboard gamma correction circuit. Backlight brightness with the integrated 4-wire resistive touchscreen is 400 cd/m2 (typical) with a contrast ratio of 300:1. The white LED backlight has a rated life of 50,000 hours. The display’s overall dimensions are 127 by 98.43 by 7.0 mm. The active area is 115.20 by 86.40 mm. The OSD057T0314-23TS is fully RoHS-compliant.
