Expanding the company’s Veronex hand-held case family is a component sized to accept industry-standard character and dot-matrix display modules. The maximum viewable width of these displays is 70 mm with an 82.5 mm PCB and the company’s hand-held case measures 150 mm x 90 mm x 30 mm. The top cover comes with a recessed area to accept a 70 mm x 137 mm membrane keypad. Two plastic end panels, held in place without fixings during assembly, provide I/O facilities at each end of the enclosure. Internal fixing pillars sit as far outboard as possible to give maximum width end panels so accommodate a large number of I/O connectors. Single-unit price is approximately $18.
