32-Channel, High-Voltage Amplifier Resides On Single Chip

Housed in a 240-pin QFP, the MA32 is touted as the industry's first 32-channel, high-voltage monolithic amplifier. Measuring less than 1.5 in2, the device is designed to drive capacitive loads in MEMS-based optical switches. It is said to drastically reduce board space requirements in switching circuitry that can include more than 1,000 3D mirror arrays requiring two amplifier drivers per channel per mirror.Other MA32 features include operation up to 300V, an output voltage up to 290V per channel, and a quiescent current of 100 µA per channel.
