Slide Switches Stack Side-By-Side

July 1, 1999

With a width of 0.098", NK Series subminiature slide switches can be stacked side-by-side. Right-angle terminal models offer mounting on the edge of pc boards. And unlike standard DIPs, NK switches have single-pole, double-throw action, yet can be used in single-pole, single-throw applications as well. The switches have gold-over-nickel contacts for an electrical life of 2000 cycles minimum at resistive loads from 1 mA at 10 mV to 0.5A at 12V. And their flux sealed, 0.023" diameter terminals are wave solder compatible. Contact resistance is 20 milliohms maximum and dielectric strength is 2000 Vrms between adjacent poles for switches mounted side-by-side and 250 Vrms between individual switch terminals.
