Optimized for real-time applications, the EUROCOM 258 CompactPCI single-board computer in a 6U double Eurocard format hosts a 1.6 GHz Pentium M and an 855GME chipset with a 400-MHz front side bus. The SBC employs a video controller integrated in the 855GME chipset that supports resolutions up to 1,556 x 1,048, and the graphics interface is compatible with VGA standards at the hardware, register, and BIOS levels. Other features include up to 1 GB of DDR RAM, 2 KB of non-volatile memory, an IDE interface with Ultra133 transfer, two USB 2.0 interfaces, an AC97-V2.2 compatible audio interface, and two 10/100 Base-T ports. One of the two channels is optionally available as a Gigabit Ethernet port. Compatible operating systems include Windows 2000/XP, Linux, and VxWorks. Single-unit price starts at $3,999.
