Narrow-Body Jacks Arrive In PC Colors

Computers, peripherals and other electronic products requiring 3.5-mm jacks having PC 99 colors represent the primary markets for the CTP-354W-99 jack family. The new additions to the CTP-354W series of jacks come in pink, yellow, brown, blue, green, lime, orange and red, with other colors available for an additional charge. Other features of the connectors include switched contacts, a narrow, 8-mm wide body, and a high-temperature plastic body having an isolated bushing to minimize noise in and out of the system. The right-angle, pc board-mount jacks also have easy-to-solder tin/lead leads and a life of 5000 cycles. Both prototype and production quantities are available.
