RISC µP-Based Reference Platform Creates Next Generation Web-Enabled Telephones

Built on Toshiba's high-performance Pallas motherboard using the TMPR3922 RISC µP and a newly designed telephony card co-developed by both the company and Toshiba, the Web telephone reference design helps developers to quickly create a next-generation Web-enabled telephone based on Microsoft Windows CE. The reference platform offers OEMs a complete solution-- includes schematics, design documentation, and software drivers-- for developing products that target the consumer market for Internet appliances.
