Battery Holders Offer Wide Choice Of Placement

Feb. 1, 2001

A series of self-contained battery holders are said to be able to be placed on or off a circuit board, or between components, cards, or anywhere within the case where space is available. Featuring portability, these devices provide self-adjusting contact springs to compensate for variations in battery size and to securely hold them in place, ensuring positive low-contact resistance connections. They also include snap-lock covers to protect batteries and increase resistance to shock and vibration with either recessed or fully enclosed contacts. Three different holders are available: Part #2484 holds three AAA batteries, Part #2049 holds two AA batteries, and Part #2487 holds three AA batteries. All three are manufactured using a molded ABS frame, nickel-plated spring steel contacts, and 6" AWG leads.
