Development System Suits CompactPCI Apps

An affordable, integrated, rack-mount computer for quick development of CompactPCI applications is offered with the release of the ZT 5082, a CompactPCI development system with eight-slot backplane. The system provides features important to telecommunication and general-purpose applications as well as hot swap support for on-the-fly board replacement, rear I/O for easy system connections, and an optional H.110 bus for quick computer telephony application integration.The system combines a standard, fan-cooled, 19" rack-mount enclosure with a CompactPCI system based on a Pentium CPU, key peripherals and I/O, and an eight-slot CompactPCI backplane.
