Connector Tackles Automotive Electrical Shielded Systems

April 1, 1999

The miniature, space-saving design of the "Twin Crimp" GT5 connector system incorporates single-bunch wiring, suiting it for automotive electrical shielded systems. Other applications include CRT displays, sensors and measuring instruments, communications equipment, LANs and other office automation equipment. Said to be ideal for use with shielded cable, the GT5 is available in various types, including: board, in-line, combination and waterproof. Connector VSWR is less than 1.2 at 2.0 GHz.
