Debuting as the latest member of the Atlas family of dual-channel, high-resolution PMC graphics controllers, the AtlasPMC/2 PMC delivers video, RGB and DVI input capabilities, and an extensive range of multimedia features. These include dual-head analog or DVI output display, stereo audio I/O, and a USB 2.0 controller. The card employs a RADEON Mobility 9000 mobile graphics processor, which supports dual 2D, 3D, OpenGL, and DirectX displays with up to 16.7 million colors. In addition to 64 MB of integrated memory, the processor features reduced-power optimizations, integrated video output, and quad-pipeline 2D/3D acceleration. The card's host bus interface uses a 32-/64-bit PCI/PCI-X bridge that enables on-board components to operate at maximum speed, regardless of host-side bus activity. Operating-system support includes Solaris, Linux, Windows, VxWorks, and LynxOS. Single-unit pricing for the AtlasPMC/2 is $2,500. CURTISS-WRIGHT CONTROLS INC., Charlotte, NC. (858) 689-7152.
