Taking on the embedded requirements for medical, COTS military/defense, automotive, transportation, gaming, test and measurement, and Internet markets, the eTX-Lx05 computer module features core processing, memory, and I/O for application- specific baseboards. The baseboard provides the I/O connectivity and PCI/ISA bus architectures. The processor module employs Intel's 815E chipset and offers configurations with either Pentium III or Celeron processors and supports up to 512 MB of PC100/133 SDRAM. Other features include a 2D/3D AGP4X video controller with an 8 MB display cache, flat-panel and CRT outputs, an AC'97 2.1 controller and CODEC, 10 Base- T/100 Base-TX Ethernet interfaces, and Ultra ATA/100 EIDE controllers. Pricing starts at $570 for a 400 MHz ULV Celeron Processor with a 256-KB cache and $795 for a 933 MHz LP Pentium III Processor with a 512-KB cache. Production shipments begin in October.
