Embedded LabVIEW Delivers True Real-Time Control

The combination of LabVIEW RT, a real-time version of the popular computer-based measurement and automation software, and the company's RT Series of intelligent data acquisition boards gives users the ability to instantly embed complete programs on the boards' dedicated processors to offer deterministic, true real-time control. Once embedded, LabVIEW RT runs directly on the boards' host processor and apart from the processor of the host computer within which the board resides. Applications continue to run reliably even when the mouse is moved or the host system switches applications. LabVIEW RT will continue to run even if the operating system on the host Windows-based PC crashes.
