Fingerprint Sensors Add Touch Of Style

Debuting as the market's first colored fingerprint sensors, the AT77C101B and AT77C104B SPI can now outfit new, stylish mobile-product designs. Virtually all colors are available for bulk orders at no additional cost. The sensors also offer a new packaging option, which is said to have the smallest visible sensor area available. Called Chip-On-Board packaging, overall module area measures 23 mm x 5 mm with the visible area measuring 9.5 mm x 1.6 mm. It employs a substrate area that extends beneath the casing to prevent perspiration-induced corrosion of the motherboard.
