The company's latest family of self-lubricating linear bushings are available in straight or mini-flanged versions and specify a three-times greater life span than conventional bushings. The bushings rely on an MX lubrication unit that uses an integral fiber pad to deliver lubricant to the shaft surface through a capillary action. This maintains a constant lubricating film between ball bearing and shaft. Reductions in assembly time are also on board as the components come pre-loaded with a lithium soap-based grease in addition to the MX lubrication unit. Other features include an operational temperature range from +20ºC to +80ºC. For further details, call MISUMI USA INC., Schaumburg, IL. (800) 681-7475.
