A novel 2-mm hard metric right-angle male connector suits extender card applications and reversed gender daughter-to-backplane applications well. Targeted industry segments include telecommunications and datacommunications equipment, peripherals, test, and networking. Fully tested, the connector meets mating and performance requirements to IEC 61076-4-101 standards. Manufactured for gas-tight, pressfit installation into a pc board, the part mates with 2-mm hard metric right-angle or vertical female connectors. The connector comes in five rows, with or without an upper shield. It's available in A, B25, B22, B19 and C modules. Connectors are priced at $7.50 each in high-volume lots.
