Motherboards Are For Single Or Dual CPU Desktop PCs

Oct. 1, 1998

This series of motherboards is designed for building or upgrading single or dual CPU desktop PCs with Intel's 440BX chipset and 100-MHz system bus support. They feature ETEQ's multimedia friendly MVP3 chipset with 100-MHz support for upgrades and for building consumer-driven sub-$1000 systems. The boards include: the SY-D61BA with 440BX AGPset for dual Pentium II CPUs to 400 MHz and beyond; the SY-6BB with 440BX AGPset for Pentium II and Celeron CPUs; and the SY-5EMA and SY-5EMM for Socket 7 CPUs. All four boards provide end users with the processing power for next-generation peripherals with accelerated graphics port, PCI expansion slots, USB ports, and UltraDMA/33 support.
