Claimed as the world's first personal safety monitor capable of measuring both electric and magnetic fields in any direction, the Wandel & Goltermann RadMan monitor offers safety in strong electromagnetic fields such as radio and telecom systems, RF industrial and plastic welders. The monitors limit values established by national and international control boards and gives out both a visual and an acoustic alarm if these levels are exceeded. It can also be used as a monitoring and leak locator unit simply by sliding the absorber cap over the battery compartment. In addition, it's able to distinguish the differences in limit values for different frequencies, showing the correct exposure value as a percentage of the relevant limit value on the LED display. The compact device is small enough to carry in a pocket or in a special belt pouch provided.
