Current Sense Resistors Handle 3W To 4W

Offering power ratings from 3W to 4W the OARS-XP series surface-mount, current-sense resistors are open-air, flameproof devices employing a unique form factor that provides compliant terminations to better handle thermal coefficient of expansion mismatches between the device and the PC board. The components can achieve power ratings of 3W using 2 oz. of copper in a 0.25" wide trace on standard FR-4 circuit board. Resistance values range from 2 mΩ to 50 mΩ with tolerances down to ±1%. Inductance values are less than 10 nH with operating temperatures ranging from –40°C to +125°C. Lead-free, RoHS-compliant and 0? jumper versions are also available.
