Tailored for use in mass-storage network, Fibre Channel, and Ethernet applications, the four members of the Cxx family of high-frequency clock oscillators specify a jitter figure of less than 1 psRMS. RoHS-compliant across the board, the family consists of the CS9 (3.3V, LVPECL), CLD (3.3V, LVDS), CSP (2.5V, LVEPCL), and CLP (2.5V LVDS) components. For Fibre Channel apps, frequencies of 106.25 MHz and 425 MHz are available, and for Gigabit Ethernet, 125 MHz and 312.5 MHz. For 10-Gb Ethernet, available frequencies include 156.25 MHz, 250 MHz, and 644.5312 MHz, and for SONET, 155.52 MHz, 311.04 MHz, and 622.08 MHZ. Each member of the family comes in a case size of 7 mm x 5 mm with an operating temperature range from –40°C to +85°C. Pricing for a CS9 is $8 each/10,000. RALTRON ELECTRONICS CORP., Miami, FL.
