Designed for high-frequency applications in data networking and communications equipment, the ultraminiature FTR-B4 relay occupies 21% less pc board area than the series' flat model. This fourth-generation, 2 Form C relay measures 10.6 mm (L) x 5.7 mm (W) and weighs approximately 1.0 gram. With contact ratings of 0.5A at 125 Vac, 1A at 30 Vdc, and 0.3A at 110 Vdc, the FTR-B4 meets IEC60950/UL1950/ EN60950 standards for basic insulation and high breakdown voltage.
Other features of the relay include 1.0 mm (min.) spacing between coil and contact, 1.6 mm (min.) creepage distance, and 150V working voltage. Surge strength between open contacts is 1500 Vac and between coil and contacts is 2500 Vac. The relay is available for 1.5 to 12 Vdc operation, with a maximum switching voltage of 250 Vac/ 220 Vdc. It is available with surface-mount or through-hole terminals at $2.50 each/10,000.
