An AudioMAX evaluation kit and stereo amplifier module are available to assist designers using the company's LX1720 Class D stereo controller ICs. Designated the LXE1700, the kit's universal interface board includes: two audio input RCA jacks; a 15-pin screw terminal block for power, ground and speaker output connections; and a stereo volume control. Supplied with the board are a data sheet for the IC and application notes that describe theory of operation, circuit development and reference design implementation.Also offered is the LXE1720-01 AudioMAX amplifier module, a fully operational Class D stereo amplifier that plugs directly into the LXE1700 interface board. The module provides output power of more than 10WRMS typical per channel from a 15 vdc power supply. It's optimized to drive 8 ohm speakers.
